A bus carrying volunteers to flood-stricken areas of Louisiana crashed into a fire truck on Sunday, killing two and injuring 30 to 40 others. The fire truck had been stopped at the scene of another wreck, and multiple firefighters were outside the vehicle when the bus of volunteers struck them. Some of these firefighters were knocked off an overpass and into the floodwater below. Local fire chief Spencer Chauvin was killed, along with one other. Neither the bus nor its driver were properly licensed, the Associated Press reports.
