Fifteen people ages 11 to 25 were shot and wounded early Sunday morning during a party at a Miami night club. The shooting happened at The Spot at around 1 a.m. “Shots were flying everywhere,” said a woman who witness the shooting from across the street. “There must have been 100 people inside.” It is not clear what precipitated the shooting or why there were minors as young as 11 in the club at the time. “This has baffled everybody,” said Miami police Department spokeswoman Frederica Burden. “We are just trying to figure out what’s going on.” Nightclub shootings are not unusual for the Miami-area. In June, a personal chef was shot dead at a club in South Beach, and a man died in December during an altercation at an Allapattah nightclub.
