1 U.S. Officer, Family Injured in Brussels

One U.S. Air Force lieutenant colonel and his four family members were allegedly injured in Tuesday’s bombings in Brussels. Officials have urged the more than 60,000 troops in Europe to avoid travel to Belgian capital. U.S. European Command spokswoman Navy Lt. Cheryl Collins said: “We are aware of one U.S. service member and his family who were caught up in this tragedy. Due to privacy concerns, we are not releasing the status of their injuries at this time.” At least 34 people were killed and another nearly 200 were injured in the terrorist attacks on an airport and metro station in Brussels.
